I am here to do a meal prep video for you guys I recently had told you that I have started to meal prep and just wanting to eat healthier and feel better overall and a lot of you have requested me to do a video on all the different recipes that I’ve been trying and I can’t tell you guys how easy and convenient meal prepping is I’ve been just trying to get as much protein and vegetables in as I can it’s so simple and so easy to do and I’m just here to share some of my recipes so I hope you guys enjoy.
All right so for the first recipe you are going to need some chicken breasts of course if you are vegan or vegetarian
you could substitute it or leave it out and then you are also going to need a red onion garlic and you can really use any kind of vegetable you want with this recipe but I use zucchini broccoli and cherry tomatoes you’re also going to
need some instant brown rice some olive oil and for your seasoning Italian seasoning and paprika and then some salt
and pepper and you will also need a sheet pan to put all your veggies and chicken on and these are the containers
that I have been using I got these on Amazon for pretty cheap.
The first thing I do is I just put some foil down on the sheet pan this will save you so much mess and then when
you’re done you can just throw it away and then I go ahead and prep my vegetables now since broccoli and the
cherry tomatoes don’t need to be cut up I just added those first and after that I am going to chop up my zucchini as
well as the red onion and garlic.
So after I added all my vegetables on to the fan I went ahead and cut up all my chicken into little chunks and added the minced garlic all over the vegetables and chicken and then this is when you’re going to add your seasoning so your salt and pepper your Italian seasoning as well as the paprika paprika and I got Big Mac so weird every sauce yeah paprika I think that’s how you say it and then also drizzle some olive oil all over the vegetables and chicken.
Now you are going to put this in your preheated oven you are going to base it on 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes so
while my chicken and veggies are in the oven I went ahead and prepared my brown rice and I just follow the instructions that were on the back of the box so after everything is done I go ahead and add brown rice to the bottom of the containers and then add my veggies and chicken on top it is that simple and so easy to make and it’s also super
delicious and like I said you can always add whatever vegetables you want with this recipe and you’re just going to put the lid on your containers and they are good show all right so for this next recipe you are going to need some
chicken breast and some quinoa but you could also use brown rice and also for your vegetables I am using sweet
potatoes and zucchini and I need some olive oil and some salt and pepper and for my solutioning I am using onion
powder chili powder and garlic powder add mint and ground cinnamon for the sweet potatoes so I’m just going to add a little bit of olive oil to the bottom of my pan which is just too nicely coat the chicken breast and also for the
seasoning to stick to it and I know I’m keeping these meals very simple because if you’re trying to eat healthy you just
need to keep everything simple but it’s good to price it up a little bit and add some seasoning so I added some garlic
powder some onion powder some paprika and some salt and pepper to my chicken.
So now to prep my sweet potatoes you are just going to peel them and tray a sheet pan so that they don’t stick to it and also you are going to cut them up into little pieces I am going to be roasting this I will be roasting the sweet potatoes a little bit before I start cooking my zucchini and I’m just going to flavor them a little bit with some ground cinnamon and mix it all up.
So that the oil and cinnamon is all over the food potatoes and go ahead and put that in even for 20 minutes on 450 degrees so while that was in the oven I went ahead and made at my quinoa and I just followed the directions that were on the back of the bag and I also went ahead and cut up my zucchini I added these about I would say halfway through the cooking time just because sweet potatoes are harder so they do it take longer to cook so about halfway through I went ahead and added zucchini.
So you are just going to do the same thing that you did for it well but you do for all of these recipes you’re just going to go ahead and prepare your food in your containers adding the quinoa to vegetables and chicken so for this last
recipe I am going to make some spaghetti squash you’re going to need it some olive oil some pasta sauce salt and
pepper and of course a spaghetti squash and zucchini.
I’m going to also add some mushrooms and I found these vegan meatballs they are just a veggie meatball that I’m going to be adding to the recipe first thing you do is cut your spaghetti squash down the middle make sure to cut it the long ways down and up go ahead and scoop out the seeds and then you’re just going to pour a little bit of olive oil on your squash and add some salt and pepper and make sure to put these face down on the baking pan and you’re going to put this in the oven for 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
All right so I’m going to be honest with you guys I did not like these vegan meatballs they do not taste good to me so I definitely don’t just getting them I would suggest maybe leading them out and just using the mushrooms in zucchini or adding another vegetable or even making a healthier homemade meatball because these were no bueno.
But after I heated up the meatballs I went ahead and add my vegetables and cook those down for a little bit and after those were done cooking I went ahead and added my skinny sauce I’m pretty much just making the sauce that is going to go on top of my spaghetti squash.
So after your squash is done baking you are just going to take a fork and lightly shred it and you can see why it gets thus named spaghetti squash because it looks exactly like spaghetti pasta once you start shredding it and you’re just going to go ahead and add it into your container and then of course add your sauce mixture on the top and like I mentioned before I definitely would not get those the vegan meatballs again you can definitely do this recipe without them or like I said make your own homemade meatballs if you want to I just wanted to add really quickly that you can store your prepared meals up to four days sometimes I will make five events so I can have it the day of and then for the next four days.
