What people says about this recipe?
Laura; This was so yummy! I used 1 and 1/4 sticks butter, added a teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of salt. Would like to find an alternatives to nuts bc my boyfriend doesn’t like them.
cj; This pie was a huge hit at the school bake sale. Surprisingly easy to make. I had to make an extra because the family ate the one I made for the bake sale!
Kayla; This recipe is an all time favorite at my house. I like to add chocolate chips (regular and white) to the top because the chocolate generally sinks to the bottom. I’ve also made this pie with a pecan layer on the bottom and salted caramel on top. We usually add a scoop of vanilla ice cream too. It is the best dessert that is so quick and easy.
Tara; I baked it for 68 minutes and it was still undercooked in the middle, but good anyway! Would leave out the walnuts next time.
Deb J; Followed recipe exactly. Excellent. Best served warm with ice cream. Came out perfect. Used Pillsbury pie crust.
Latasha; Amazing heaven-sent pie. I only used 1 stick of butter and used 1/2 cup of milk chocolate and 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chips.
